Qualification:  Diploma / BE in Electronics, Electrical
Experience: min 5 to 10 yrs experience in Quality dept from Automotive Electronic / Electo-mechanical components manufacturing company.
Location: Vasai East in Mumbai 

Job Description:
1. Inspection of SMD components and mechanical parts as per inspection standards/sampling plan.
2. Maintain humidity and temperature records as per standards (e.g., IQA, SMT Line, MI Line, Store).
3. Good knowledge of SMT and MI lines.
4. Good knowledge of MSL components and proper handling.
5. Working knowledge of ERP software such as SAP, IC-Soft, Tally, etc.
6. Familiar with ESD2020, IPC-A610, JEDEC standards.
7. Proficient in using measuring instruments: Vernier caliper, surface resistance meter, lux meter, digital multimeter, LCR meter, etc.
8. Maintain 5S practices on the shop floor.
9. Strong command of 6QC core tools (as updated for 2024), 7 QC tools, Poka-Yoke, Kaizen, CAPA, 8D, ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, Six Sigma, TPM etc.
10. Conduct daily red bin analysis and implement action plans
11. Good knowledge of product and process audits.
12. Update MRM data weekly/monthly (COPQ, line rejection PPM, supplier rejection PPM, action plans, closures).
13. Visit customers/suppliers to address abnormal issues.
14. Prepare in-process hourly reports, layout reports, and PDI reports.
15. Take and analyze reflow profiles.
16. Maintain instrument calibration records as per the plan.
17. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
18. Operate and monitor SMT equipment: stencil printer, pick-and-place machine, reflow oven, SPI, AOI, etc.
19. Assist in machine setup and program loading for various PCB assemblies.
20. Monitor SMT line for quality issues: solder bridges, misalignment, tombstoning, missing/shifted components, etc.
21. Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and support in-process quality checks.
22. Assist in setting process parameters, reflow profile tuning, and process optimization.
23. Perform basic troubleshooting of SMT machines; escalate major issues when required.
24. Ensure proper handling of components and adherence to ESD-safe practices.
25. Conduct MSA and SPC studies as per schedule; maintain records in ePDM/IC-Soft.
26. Monitor critical process parameters and take immediate action in case of deviations.
27. Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections as per defined procedures.
28. Report non-conformities (NCs); assist in root cause analysis and CAPA
29. Ensure proper usage and calibration of gauges, fixtures, and measuring tools.
30. Support line operators in understanding quality requirements and resolving issues.
31. Approve process qualifications and jigs/fixtures on the production line.
32. Good knowledge of end-to-end New Part Development (NPD).
