Job Description:

Qualifiction: Graduate or Post Graduate in BE/B.Tech/MCA/MSc-IT
Experience: 3+ years of experience
Location: Bangalore or Karnataka or southern area (Male/Female)
Notice Period : Immediate joiner or 15 to 30 days who is serving notice period.

Database: Microsoft Sql Server
Reporting Tool : Microsoft Sql Server Reporting Services
Backend: C#
Web Server: IIS 7.x basic configuration
Framework: ASP.Net, dot.net 2.0,3.5 and above
Front End: HTML, Javascript and JQuery, WinForms and WebForms (also MVC, AJAX)

Job scope:
Development of new projects and maintenance of existing Programs and upgrade the same whenever required. The role implies a very good technical knowledge and an understanding of business environments. The closer cooperation with business analysts’ specialists in Fourth Shift system is key to success. The role implies as well the progressive understanding and knowledge of Fourth Shift system based on assignments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Development of New programs and Upgrading the Existing Programs.
• Working with integration platforms between different Programs and ERP.
• Understanding the business requirements and analyze the relevant processes in own area of responsibility.
• Identify opportunities to simplify applications (pertinent to each area of responsibility) with a view to removing complexity from the organization and improving productivity.
• Work with Process Engineers and Subject Matter Experts from businesses across TSS to understand the application requirements,and translate them into functional requirements and technical requirements close to ERP standards and best practices.
• Configure the system as agreed with Business Process Engineers and other stakeholders.
• Participate in feasibility studies (change requests) for system enhancements.
• Compile specifications for development and technical implementation (e.g., reports, forms, interfaces & integration etc.)
• Working with Project Teams, IT Project Management Office to coordinate/support the technical implementation.
• Monitor system activities (e.g., update requests, locks etc.), and batch jobs, and ensure appropriate usage of the system.
• Document functionality, create application manuals and develop training materials.
• Organize and perform User Training in cooperation with key users and process engineers as applicable.
• Support the creation of Business Cases, participate in feasibility studies, prepare work effort estimates for business requests, software change requests, system enhancements or projects.
• Assist and consult business representatives during the implementation of change management tasks.
• Lead and mentor others in their field of knowledge.
• Provide Application Support for users, key users, and subject matter experts by following Service Desk Processes and usage of the ticketing system.
• Testing of the solution configuration to ensure the system is meeting specified needs.
• Support colleagues and users during the various test phases for systems & applications.
• Sign-off release into the quality and into production together with business, Process Engineers and Technical Services
• Assist the IT Manager with organizing work, evaluating solution designs, controlling change, and provide day to day coordination with other IT colleagues.

Key Requirements:
• Fluent in the English language (any additional language a benefit)
• Good Team player
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Knowledge of ERP systems (Fourth Shift ideal but not a limitation)
• Understanding of industrial/commercial business processes, the main area of pertinence
• Application Business Process Analysis background with consolidated experience in the development role (3 to 5 years)
• Ability to coordinate the projects and report status and progress
• Interest in supporting the international community
• Able to travel and work effectively in a remote situation dealing with all levels of the organization
• Proven process application knowledge background (pertinent to the area of responsibility)
• Ability to identify pain points/weaknesses and to propose amendments to existing application processes
