Job Description:

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. Mechanical or Production
Experience: 5 to 10 yrs in Procurement and vendor development activities from Switches manufacturing / Automotive Industries
Gender: Male / Female
Work location: Vasai East in Mumbai

Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Procurement Planning procurement strategies for A-category parts, which are high-value, high-impact items.
Ensure advance planning for long lead time parts to prevent line stoppage or production delays.
Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, especially those providing critical and imported components.
Monitor vendor performance regularly.
Closely monitor parts with 16+ weeks lead time, including imported items or custom-engineered parts.
Establish buffer stock norms, safety stock levels, and work with MRP to maintain optimum inventory without overstocking.
Coordinate with Production Planning, Quality, and Stores teams to ensure timely availability
Develop contingency plans for supply disruptions
Analyze ABC classification, consumption trends, supply lead time, and vendor performance
Use ERP systems like SAP, or custom MRP tools to manage purchase orders, GRNs, and lead times.
Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and documentation IATF standards.
