Job Profile:
The Production Supervisor – Melting is responsible for supervising and controlling all melting and casting activities to ensure production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and process parameters are achieved.
The role involves monitoring furnace operations, charge mix preparation, molten metal quality, pouring practices, and coordinating with quality and maintenance teams for smooth production.

Qualification: Diploma / BE Engineer (Mechanical, Production, Automobile) on a full-time basis role in the Production Department.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in the Melting Department of a foundry/casting industry. Experience in induction furnace operations, metal melting, and casting process control preferred.
Work location: Chakan in Pune

Job Description:
Supervise daily melting and casting operations as per production plan.
Ensure optimum utilization of furnaces, manpower, and resources.
Monitor production output and achieve planned production targets.
Coordinate with molding, core shop, quality, and maintenance departments for smooth workflow.
Process Control and ensure molten metal quality meets customer and internal specifications.
Control and monitor melting process parameters including Furnace temperature, Metal chemistry/composition, Charge mix ratio, Holding time, Pouring temperature, Inoculation and treatment parameters, Metal recovery and yield.
Maintain process records and production reports.
Work closely with QA/QC teams to improve casting quality.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and PPE requirements.
Monitor safe handling of molten metal and furnace operations.
Supervise operators, furnace attendants, and helpers.
Allocate manpower effectively based on production requirements.
Train and guide shop-floor personnel on process and safety practices.
Monitor discipline, attendance, and productivity
