Inward Quality / IQA Engineer at Vasai east in Mumbai

Job Description:

Qualification: BE in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, Industrial Engineering or related discipline
Experience: min 2 to 5 Years experience in Inward Quality, Supplier Quality for Moulded part, Sheet metal, Machined Components, PPAP documentation, IATF knowledge.
Work location: Vasai east in Mumbai
Gender: Male / Female

Job Responsibilities:
Should able to Inspect Inward Material i.e. Moulded part, Sheet metal, Machined Components.
In-depth knowledge of the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), including reviewing supplier PPAP documentation, verifying material conformance, and ensuring all required samples and documentation are submitted and approved.
Proficiency in basic math and measurements (metric and imperial systems) for quality checks and understanding of technical drawings.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with quality management software is a plus.
Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner with Supplier.
Strong knowledge of quality control procedures ISO : 9001 and IATF 16949.
Familiarity with tools and equipment such as micrometers, calipers, gauges and Profile Projector.
Clear and effective communication skills for working with suppliers and cross-functional teams, including the ability to communicate technical information.
Commitment to continuous improvement practices by staying updated with the latest inspection technologies and quality control methods.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple inspections and reports simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
